Acharya Anuj Jain — Astrologer, Vastu Consultant, Author

I have been practising astrology and Vastu for over thirty years. In that time I have assessed thousands of properties — homes, offices, showrooms, clinics, factories and sites people were considering buying — and read charts for families, professionals, industrialists and builders across India and overseas.

I have written four books. The first, VASTU — Vedic Architectural Study for Treasure in Universe, is available now. Three more are in publication, including Kaalchakra, a study of cyclical time.

I keep records. I have kept them by hand since I started, on every consultation, and I go back to them. That habit is the reason I can tell you which faults recur, which corrections hold over ten years, and which of the things I believed at twenty-five turned out to be wrong. Most of what I now teach came out of that file, not out of a book.

Haridwar. Online puja can be arranged for existing clients on request.

Method, not adjectives

How I Work

  1. Diagnosis before remedy

I will not prescribe anything on the first phone call. I want to see the plan, or the chart, or the property. A remedy given before a diagnosis is guesswork dressed up as expertise, and the client pays for the guess.

  2. Correction without demolition

The overwhelming majority of what I recommend involves no construction at all — where a bed sits, which room is used for what, where the heavy storage goes, which direction a person faces at a desk, how light and air move through a floor. Structural change is the last option on my list, not the first.

  3. Observation over assertion

When I tell you something, I would like to be able to tell you how I know it. Thirty years of records means I can usually point to the pattern rather than to the authority. Where I am working from tradition rather than from observation, I will say that too.

  4. No fear, ever

I have never once used fear to sell a consultation and I never will. If someone tells you that something dreadful is approaching and only they can prevent it, you have learned something important about them and nothing about your situation.

  5. Know the boundary

This work does not treat illness, settle legal disputes or replace financial advice. There are consultations where the most useful thing I do is tell someone that what they are describing needs a doctor. Recognising the edge of one’s field is not a weakness in the field.

Who comes through the door

Who I Work With

Families, professionals, corporates, industrialists, builders and business owners — in Delhi, across India, and for clients settled abroad who consult online.

The work divides roughly in two. On one side, homes: sleep, health, study, money that arrives and does not stay, a room nobody wants to sit in. On the other, working premises: offices, showrooms, clinics and factories, where the questions are about entrances, circulation, seating and storage, and where the answer usually has to fit around operations that cannot stop.

Written work

Four Books

One published, three in publication. Two in English, two in Hindi. They exist because thirty years of field notes eventually have to go somewhere.

Where to start

If you would like to see how I work before you speak to me, the books set out the method in full. If you already know what you need, every consultation is set out in full on the Services page.
