In short: We go through your chart together: the houses, where the planets sit, which period is running, and what the transits are doing to it. You come away understanding the reasoning, not just a conclusion.
The work
Most people arrive having been told about one placement. A reading looks at all twelve houses and how they hold each other up, because a strain in one is almost always complicated by what is happening in the others.
Your mahadasha and antardasha, and the transits crossing them. This is the part that answers “why does it feel like this at the moment” more directly than anything else in the chart.
Two or three specific questions, taken seriously and answered from the chart. Where the chart does not have a clear answer, I say so rather than filling the gap.
Where a remedy is appropriate I explain what it is for and how long to do it. Where it is not, I say that instead — which happens more often than you might expect.
Said plainly
A reading describes your chart accurately and tells you what is running. It does not guarantee any outcome, and I will not pretend otherwise. The chart is a floor plan; you still live in the house, make the decisions and do the work each room asks for. Anyone offering certainty is selling you the certainty, not the reading.
Before you ask
Bring what you have and say honestly how confident you are in it. An approximate time is workable if we both know it is approximate — I will tell you which parts of the reading stay reliable and which are simply not available. What I will not do is give a confident, specific reading built on a vague time.
For a chart reading, yes. The work happens before we speak — I study the chart in advance rather than opening it for the first time while you are on the call. The conversation itself works the same over a call as across a desk.
Long enough to go through the chart properly and answer what you brought. It is not a five-minute reading, and it is not designed to end with you needing to book another one.
I will tell you what I see, including the difficult parts, but I do not use fear to sell consultations and I do not encourage dependency. A consultation should end.
