Which of the three phases you are in, not a vague seven-and-a-half-year dread. The phases behave quite differently and ask for different things — the first to stop leaking, the second to endure honestly, the third to rebuild carefully.
A dasha does not import a planet’s general reputation into your life. It activates what that planet is doing in your chart — which houses it rules, where it sits, what it connects to.
The practical use of this system: timing the decisions you control to the period you are in, and letting a major commitment wait for a more supportive stretch where it can.
Said plainly
The dasha system tells you which part of your chart is being emphasised and roughly when. It does not tell you what will happen, and the distance between those two things is large. Anyone quoting a specific event on a specific date from a dasha is exceeding what the method supports. And no remedy shortens a transit — there is no puja that ends sade sati early.
Before you ask
That has a definite answer, and getting it is usually a relief — a specific date is far lighter to carry than a vague dread. What I cannot do is shorten it, and I would be careful of anyone offering to.
Because the period you were born into is set by the Moon’s exact position, so two people born days apart can be living in entirely different dashas. It is the plainest answer to why sign-based horoscopes do not fit anybody.
No, and I would not trust a prediction like that from anyone. What the system supports is preparation — knowing what a period emphasises so you can plan into it rather than be surprised by it.
