Industrial work is not residential work at a larger scale. A plant is a process, and the questions are about where heat, weight, storage and people sit relative to one another — which is closer to the original purpose of this discipline than anything I do in a flat.
In short: The unit is assessed on the sixteen-direction grid as a working process: the placement of furnaces and heat, heavy machinery and load, raw material and finished storage, administration, and how people and material move through the building.
The work

Raw material and finished goods are treated differently, and the two are frequently found in each other’s zones in units that grew organically rather than being laid out.
How material travels through the building and where the people directing it sit. A great many of the corrections I recommend here are about flow, and cost very little.
In an operating unit, downtime is the real cost. Recommendations come in priority order with that in mind, and structural change is a last resort identified as such.
Said plainly
Vastu is not engineering, and this consultation does not replace structural, electrical, fire or safety assessment by qualified engineers — where those overlap with what I recommend, they take precedence without argument. It carries no view on the commercial performance of the business, no investment or market guidance, and no guarantee of any outcome. What it offers is a considered reading of the layout and a set of corrections in priority order, most of which cost very little.
Before you ask
No, but the range narrows. In an operating plant most of what I recommend is about placement, flow and use rather than structure, because downtime is expensive and demolition is rarely justified. If you are still at drawing stage, that is when this work is worth the most.
In the ordinary case, very little. Where structural change genuinely is the only correction I will say so, identify it as a last resort and cost it separately from everything else — and you should be sceptical of any consultant whose recommendations conveniently require a contractor.
I will not claim that. What I will say is what the layout shows and what I would change, in priority order and with reasons. Anyone guaranteeing an operational result from a Vastu correction is selling you the guarantee.
