Health & Wellbeing

This is the consultation on the list with the firmest boundary around it. I am not a doctor, I do not diagnose, and I do not treat. What a chart can offer is a sense of which stretches ask for more care, and that is worth having provided nobody mistakes it for medicine.

In short: We read the ascendant and its lord, the sixth house and its afflictions, and the period you are running, to identify the stretches where health has historically needed more attention in your chart — and I say plainly, more than once, that anything symptomatic belongs with a doctor.

The work

What this covers

Constitution in the chart

The ascendant, its lord and the Moon, read for the general robustness the chart describes and the areas it tends to strain. This is a description of tendency, not a finding about your body.

Periods that ask for more care

Which dasha and transit stretches have historically coincided with poor health in your chart, so that check-ups and rest can be scheduled rather than improvised.

Habits worth changing

Ordinary, unglamorous things: sleep, food, routine, and the discipline the running period responds to. Most of what is useful here costs nothing.

When I stop and send you to a doctor

If you describe a symptom, the consultation stops being astrological and becomes a recommendation to see a physician. I would rather lose the consultation than have you delay a diagnosis.

What to bring

  • Date, exact time and place of birth
  • A general sense of the periods in your life when health was difficult, with dates
  • Nothing else — please do not send reports, scans or test results

What you get

  • A reading of the constitution the chart describes
  • The periods ahead that warrant more attention and regular check-ups
  • Practical habit and routine changes that fit the running period
  • A written summary that states its own limits on the first line

Said plainly

What this cannot do

This is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a treatment plan. It cannot detect, confirm or rule out any condition, and it must never be used to delay or replace seeing a qualified doctor. If you have symptoms, see a physician first and treat this consultation as something you might do afterwards, or not at all. I do not sell any medicine, supplement or therapy, and I will not tell you to stop a treatment a doctor has prescribed.

Before you ask

Common questions

Can you tell me what illness I have or will get?

No. No chart can do that, and anyone claiming otherwise is doing something both dishonest and dangerous. A chart describes emphasis and timing, not pathology. Diagnosis belongs to medicine.

Should I stop my medication if the remedy works?

Absolutely not, and please do not ask me to endorse it. Nothing discussed in this consultation is a reason to change anything a doctor has prescribed. That decision belongs to your doctor alone.

Someone told me my illness is a dosha and offered a puja to cure it. Is that legitimate?

No. Offering a ceremony as a cure for a diagnosed condition is one of the clearest signs you are being exploited, and it is often aimed at families who are frightened and short of options. Bring it to me and I will tell you plainly what I think of it.

Is this useful at all, then?

It is useful for planning and for perspective — knowing which year is worth scheduling a proper check-up in, or why a stretch felt as heavy as it did. That is a modest claim, and it is the accurate one.
